I don’t consider my style overly feminine, but there are times when I am drawn to pieces that are more delicate or girly. I purchased this midi skirt from Zara a few years ago (remember it here and here), and while it is not something I would typically gravitate towards – I absolutely love it. The color is great for spring and summer, though I can easily wear it in winter with ankle boots and a chunky cream or gray sweater. Since I have talked before about hating to tuck things in (I know – such a silly thing but I really try to avoid it if I can #firstworldproblems), I tied up my blouse and folded the sleeves to make it more suitable for the warmer temps. I wear this blouse year round since it’s a classic shape and color, and find that it goes with anything and everything. I’m still going strong with these block heeled sandals and love that I can walk around all day without getting a blister or needing to change into flats. Though I still always carry a stash of band-aids with me because I have learned the hard way too many times. There is nothing worse than being trapped in uncomfortable shoes with no flats in sight. In fact, I have had to go to the drugstore on many occasions and by those Dr. Scholl’s portable flats which are like having a piece of fabric separating your feet from the dirty street. Not my finest moment, that’s for sure.
