I still look at these photos and miss this comfortable bed. LOL Last week, the Quirk Hotel hosted Stan and I for a few days and it was a nice mid week getaway since it was only a few short hours drive. I really enjoy staying in boutique hotels because the details and decor are always the best, and the Quirk Hotel was no exception. From the lobby to the rooms, everything looked like a work of art. Since it is located in the design and arts district of Richmond, it mirrored the creative vibe of the neighborhood so well. The rooms had a minimalistic feel peppered with colorful artwork on the walls and huge (I mean taller than me!) windows that lit up the room. I’m the type of person that craves sunlight and bright spaces, so these rooms were absolutely perfect for me. Ordering room service and working in a huge comfortable bed and sunny room was the best way to start each morning. And of course, I stayed in my pajamas as long as possible because these are my most comfortable pair yet! I wrote this post a few weeks ago about upgrading my sleepwear, and this fun set was my newest purchase. I thought I was living in cute pj sets, until I purchased a pair of silk pajamas. Whoa. Where have I been? I never wanted to change out of these – they are that comfortable. And the bonus for me is they have a cropped leg so I don’t have to worry about them dragging on the floor (a common problem for me with any and all pants #shortinseamissues). They come in a polka dot print as well and those are already in my cart to be purchased. Move over handbags and shoes, pajamas are taking over (ok that is a bit much, I can never love them more than accessories).

Below are more pictures of our stay and some of my favorite spots in the hotel.

I am not normally a pink gal, but I absolutely loved the pink accents all around the hotel. This was the restaurant, Maple & Pine which had the chicest decor right in the lobby of the hotel.

If the interior decor wasn’t cute enough, the hotel had a great rooftop bar and lounge area.
I came out to the courtyard each day to do some work and enjoy the space. Those big white chairs were like sitting in clouds – I could have sat there all day.

Here is a snap from my dinner at Maple & Pine. The dishes were as artistic as the decor!

This was a little nook right at the front of the hotel next to their in-house coffee bar. Fun fact – they are known for their coffee and many people from the area would come in just to grab a cup and go. I think it was also to sit in that pink chair. It just calls you to sit in it, amiright?!

This is the front desk that greets you upon arrival. Every corner of this hotel was full of artistic details, and frankly is Instagram heaven!
