What to wear to a summer concert

Now that the weather is finally getting warmer, summer concerts are in full swing! I’ve had some lucky readers get Taylor Swift tickets (I’m not a Swiftie but I’m still jealous) and wanted some outfit ideas of what to wear to a summer concert and/or music festival. It can be difficult to decide what to wear to a summer concert so I rounded up a bunch of looks with links below each collage that would fit a ton of different music genres and venues while all still being quite comfortable. There is a good mix of splurge and budget items but all would pair easily back to anything you already have in your closet. I’m not a huge country music fan but I can’t help but want to wear cowboy boots to a summer concert, anyone else? If you don’t know where to start on building an outfit especially for an outdoor concert, start with a comfy pair of denim shorts. I feel like denim shorts will go with almost any cute top and then add a bunch of fun accessories to the look. Comfortable shoes are a necessity for a concert and if you are going to be outside then sunglasses and a big hat are a must have as well.

I also found some great inexpensive clear bags that still look chic but would be summer concert approved.

I always feel like the bag situation for a concert is the least exciting part of the outfit so the details have to make up for it. LOL Keep things simple in your bag and only bring the essentials but don’t forget things like band-aids, hand sanitizer and maybe some hydration packets to add to your water. A makeup setting spray with SPF is a great multi-use product to use but also bring a powder SPF to dust on for touch ups at the concert.

Denim midi skirts are having a major moment this summer.

I personally have the one that I linked and can attest to how fabulous it is! Wear it with some boots for a concert but throw on some sandals or flats for a chic daytime look. Dad sandals are also still going strong this summer and are a chic way to keep your feet comfortable if you plan to be standing for most of the concert. The ones I linked above are a major splurge so I also found a budget friendly option as well.
