After curating my closet time and time again over the past few decades and spending hours putting together outfits, I feel I have a good idea of the core winter pieces that most people need. These pieces never go out of style and can be reworn year after year with various winter looks.

There are so many sales happening in the last quarter of the year so I decided to start a weekly sales series to feature the ones I think are worth shopping. It will be much like my Friday Finds blog post series but sales edition!

I know, I know – it feels like fall just started and here I am already sharing Thanksgiving outfit ideas! But it’s one month away and the early bird gets the cute Thanksgiving outfit, right? Or something like that! There are a ton of different styles that you could choose depending on where you are going so I thought I would round up 10 outfit ideas to wear for Thanksgiving that feel comfortable but look polished and put together.

I have so many holiday pieces in my closet from J.Crew that I purchased years ago that I still love and wear. So many of their items are timeless and can be worn year after year. There are so many great pieces on the site right now but these are the ones that really stood out to me! 

Fair Isle is one of my favorite prints to wear each winter. It’s often associated with apres ski looks, but I personally love to wear it in my regular life! There are so many chic and fun options available each year so I thought I would round up some of my favorite finds from this year.

Fall fashion is my absolute favorite but it’s often priced higher than spring/summer fashion so finding chic pieces under $200 takes some hunting and browsing. This round up has a bit of everything: clothing, jewelry, bags, shoes, wardrobe essentials, etc!

One trend I’ve been seeing everywhere this fall is the scarf coat. Not completely new but more brands are putting out their version of this coat and I love it. I find the coat/scarf combo in the same fabric so chic yet still functional.
