There are some pieces in my closet that have been going strong for many (many) years and are still some of my favorite items to wear. This entire outfit (with the exception of the coat which I purchased in late 2015) are all things I have had for at least 3-4 years, if not longer. Having a blog can be fun for sharing new finds but I don’t always think it’s realistic to only show items that have been recently purchased. Heck, I can’t even keep up with that from a budget standpoint! An outfit like this is incredibly easy to duplicate since it involves mainly solid colors and basic styles that brands duplicate every year. Mixing camel, black and red is one of my favorite color combinations and it works well with a neutral pattern like leopard print.
In other news…..I am finishing up my last week in NYC (after 15 years!) and will be moving on Monday! Eeek! I will be sharing more details in an upcoming YouTube video, so stay tuned for that shortly. Part of the move is bittersweet because I have loved living here and NYC holds memories from my entire adult life since I moved here 6 days after graduating college. However, my husband and I finally have the opportunity to be closer to my parents, which is very important to me, and the thought of having an actual home rather than an apartment is quite exciting! Thanks for being with me these past 4 years and I am eager to share this next phase of my life with all of you! 🙂
