Alright, I apologize in advance, but this is going to be the summer that I exhaust the off-the-shoulder trend. Ugh! But in my defense, there are more great styles out this year than I have ever seen. And while I used to think this trend was too feminine or girly for my taste, the different types of dress and top styles/shapes/colors that are available make it easy to find something to fit anyone’s preference. I have been loving the sneaker-with-everything look recently – especially after these Converses arrived that I ordered a few months ago. I had been thinking about getting them as a casual white sneaker last summer, but ended up not making the purchase. This year – especially after my surgery, I find that I am drawn to comfortable shoes more than ever. Yet the funny thing is now that I no longer live in NYC and have a car to drive around, I do find myself pulling out the few high heels I own because I don’t have to worry about walking far in them. LOL But for everyday errands and weekend activities, I love a cute sneaker.
And let me not leave this post without addressing my additional new found love for a white dress. I rarely wear all white because I am so fair. I assume I will look washed out, or the look will fall flat on me – but I instantly fell in love with this dress when I put it on. It does come in other colors, but I wanted to give the little white dress look a go for the summer. But of course to spice things up, I had to pair it with a red lip and my new red sunglasses that I picked up for only $20!!! If you are looking for a great pair of colorful sunglasses for summer – I highly recommend these.
