I test out a TON of skincare for this blog and have been doing so for more than 13 years. But what products do I consistently repurchase time and time again? There are quite a few actually but they have changed quite a bit over the past few years. I did a post on this previously and thought I would update it with my current most repurchased skincare items from every category!
My Most Repurchased Skincare Items
Cleansers
Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm
I’ve been using this cleansing balm for nearly 10 years. It’s one of my most repurchased skincare items that I will never be without. I will alternate between this Cleansing Balm and the Versed each night to remove my makeup. The Elemis one is really rich and nourishing and leaves my skin feeling so soft. No other cleansing balm leaves me skin AS soft as the Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm. I always apply my cleansing balms on a dry face with dry hands and then massage in to break down and remove all my makeup. I will then add water to emulsify the balm to a gentle milk and rinse.
Experiment Plasma Wash (discount code: MAREE15)
As someone who LOVES a unique texture especially when it comes to cleansers, the Experiment Plasma Face Wash is favorite of mine. It’s technically a gel cream but has a jelly-like feel to it. It is chock full of super nourishing ingredients to really support those with mature dry skin types. This formula uses glycerin depositing compounds that delivers moisture that remains on the skin even after you rinse. It doesn’t leave a film but it makes the skin feel intensely nourished and supple much like a serum or moisturizer would do. It’s quite a unique cleanser and one that is fantastic for those with dry mature skin.
OneSkin PREP Facial Cleanser (discount code: MAREE15)
While cleansers can often be seen as an afterthought in a skincare routine, I believe that using great cleansers can really help to prep the skin well for the rest of the products you will be using (as well as keeping your skin clean). From the first time I tried this cleanser, I was instantly in love with how it made my skin feel (and featured it in this blog post on best facial cleansers for mature skin) . It’s a silky gel texture that foams up slightly but not enough to dry out the skin or less your skin feeling stripped and/or tight. The PREP facial cleanser helps to balance the skin and allow for better product absorption. There is prickly pear extract for a gentle exfoliation, arnica extract to help reduce inflammation and niacinamide which helps to condition the skin.
Toning Pads/Essences/Face Mists
Biodance Collagen Gel Toner Pads
I was obsessed with the Mediheal Collagen Ampoule Pads as a daily toner to give a boost of hydration to my skin after cleansing. They’re now one of my most repurchased skincare items, and I was about to reorder them but saw these and decided to compare. I’ve been using these every single day after cleansing and am IN LOVE with them! They are a very different texture than what I am used to but absolutely love the jelly-like feel to them. They instantly plump and hydrate my skin and you can also leave them on for a few minutes as a mini sheet mask treatment.
YSE Beauty Your Favorite Ex Exfoliating Pads (discount code: MAREE-15)
I love these resurfacing peel pads and use them three times a week to give me a nice chemical exfoliation. I’m pretty picky about my exfoliating pads not being too strong or too gentle and this manages to be the perfect balance. It’s formulated with glycolic acid which helps to slough off those dead skin cells but also contains gluconalacotone which has anti-inflammatory properties. Even though it resurfaces, my skin still feels nicely hydrated afterwards instead of tight or irritated. I also LOVE the shape of them because they are a dual-textured pad with a pocket that you can fit your fingers into and easily swipe across the face.
Rhode Glazing Milk
The Rhode Glazing Milk is what made me fall in love with milky toners in the first place. It’s still my absolute favorite formula and one that I have repurchase time and time again. This is a creamy milky essence designed to prep the skin for product absorption, boost barrier function and provide instant hydration. It contains a mix of ceramides, a magnesium + zinc + copper blend and beta-glucan to help soften and moisturize the skin. It also helps to reduce redness over time. The Glazing Milk is the thickest out of all these toners in this post but for me is the most intensely nourishing. The name is perfect because it really does give the skin a glazy finish and really provides fantastic skin barrier support. It’s incredibly versatile and can be used in a few different ways.
The first way I use it is as an essence after I have cleansed and toned. I will pour it into my hands and pat into the skin. Recently I have been using it as a final serum in my skincare routine applied right before I put on my moisturizer. Finally, it is the PERFECT makeup prep product. If you find that your makeup doesn’t apply as nicely as you would like, pat a bit of this into your skin right before you apply your foundation.
TirTir Milk Skin Toner
TirTir is one of my favorite Korean beauty brands and this was the first skincare product from them that I tried. I fell in love with the formula and have repurchase it multiple times since. It’s a very ligthweight milky toner that has a watery consistency. Formulated with niacinamide, rice bran extract and ceramides, the TirTir Milk Skin Toner delivers intense hydration while also comforting and soothing the skin. The addition of panthenol helps make it suitable for sensitive skin and especially great for those with very dry and reactive skin. Like with all the milky toners that I have, I prefer to pour a small bit into my hands and pat it into the skin. This does leave a slightly tacky finish on the skin which I like since my skin is more dry and mature, but this is a lighter version for those who don’t prefer that feeling.
Curel Deep Moisture Mist
This is an intensely nourishing face mist that feels almost creamy once applied. The mist is perfect and super fine which I love.
Serums
Mother Science Molecular Hero Serum (discount code: MAREESYE)
The Mother Science Molecular Hero Serum addresses many skin concerns and has quickly become one of my most repurchased skincare items. So it may be a great replacement for various products in your routine if you are looking to streamline your lineup. I added it to my evening routine nearly a year ago using it every other night. It took nearly a month for me to begin to notice any changes. So I always advise being consistent with a new product for at least 4 weeks to determine if the product is working. The key ingredient in the formula is Malassezin, which is 10x more powerful than vitamin c in helping reduce and fade dark spots.
Naturium Barrier Bounce
Holy GLOW!! It can be used a ton of different ways (as an essence, as a serum, as a lightweight moisturizer) but I prefer to use it as a serum. It instantly plumps my skin and delivers intense long lasting hydration. And the price point is under $25 which absolutely blows my mind. This is 10x better than serums double and triple the price. Highly recommend!!!
Medik8 Liquid Peptides
Many hydrating serums focus on simply providing moisture. But the Medik8 Liquid Peptides hydrates the skin as well as visibly plump. From the first time I used this serum, I could instantly notice a difference! My skin immediately looked firmer, more supple and fine lines were noticeably smoothed. After 4 weeks of using it every day, my skin looks so plump and actually feels thicker (not sure if it is but it feels that way LOL). If this is your first time trying the Medik8 line, this serum is a must have! It would easily work into any skincare routine and really targets fine lines and wrinkles better than most of my other hydrating serums. A definite repurchase for me.
OneSkin OS-01 Skin Supplement (discount code: MAREE15)
I LOVE the texture of the OS-01 Skin Supplement and can use it either as a lightweight moisturizer or a serum underneath a heavier/richer moisturizer. The science behind OneSkin products is truly remarkable and they are one of the first companies to focus on skin longevity rather than just targeting anti-aging concerns. The OS-o1 peptide can penetrate deeper layers of the skin while still remaining stable. It targets the root causes of aging and helps the skin look and feel healthier. This formula treats fine lines and wrinkles, while helping even out the skin tone, reduce the appearance of enlarged pores and improve skin barrier function. You are truly getting so much just in one product!
Educated Mess Freeze Frame (discount code: MAREE10)
This peptide serum has been on my radar for the past year and was so excited to finally test it. This formula contains three advanced peptide complexes to deliver instant firming results as well as long term plumping and lifting benefits. It has a slight tingling/cooling effect when on but I love how FIRM it makes the skin. Wow! You can definitely feel the tightness a few minutes after applying it. For those who struggle with deep lines and wrinkles, this is a great option!
Moisturizers
Colleen Rothschild Sheer Renewal Cream
I have been using this oil-free moisturizer for nearly 10 years, making it one of my most repurchased skincare items. It’s a lightweight gel-cream that helps to hydrate and smooth the skin so I prefer using as a daytime moisturizer. It wears beautifully under foundation and preps the skin so nicely. Even though it is oil-free and feels like nothing on the skin, I still find that it moisturizes deeply and keeps my skin hydrated all day long.
Mother Science Molecular Genesis Barrier Repair Moisturizer (discount code: MAREESYE)
The newest product in the Mother Science skincare range is their Molecular Genesis Barrier Repair Moisturizer. A great complement to their two serums and a product that can easily be added in to any skincare routine. It harnesses the fantastic benefits of Malassezin with added ingredients such as growth factors and peptides to really strengthen and support the skin barrier. Regardless of your skin concerns, strengthening and maintaining a healthy skin barrier is one of the most important aspects on any skincare routine.
Medik8 Advanced Night Ceramide
This night cream is like a gorgeous fluffy pillow for your skin. LOL It is incredibly rich and nourishing so you only need a small amount but it manages to absorb nicely and leaves my skin feeling soft and satiny. It contains skin-replenishing lipids so it does an amazing job at repair and strengthening the skin barrier. It is recommended to use after retinol products because of how well it nourishes the skin and will replenish your skin barrier overnight. I have been using it any night that I am using a strong active (retinol, AHAs, etc) and love how it makes my skin feel and look. The next morning my face looks firm, supple and well balanced which always ends up giving me a natural glow.
INNBEAUTY Extreme Cream
This is a great moisturizer to use to support the skin barrier. This is why I rarely ever struggle with redness/flakiness when using stronger acids or retinols. Ensuring I use a barrier support moisturizer as my final step really gives my skin what it needs to be balanced and healthy. This one is a tad more dewy and glowy on the skin and is a bit more focused on lifting/firming.
Eye Creams
OneSkin OS-01 Eye Topical Supplement (discount code: MAREE15)
I’m rarely loyal to an eye cream, but this eye topical supplement from OneSkin has become one of my most repurchased skincare items. After the first bottle I finished, I immediately repurchased a new one. In addition to helping moisturize the delicate skin under the eyes, the eye topical supplement will help firm sagging skin. It also reduces fine lines and wrinkles. Often I will get milia from other eye creams that are too rich. Then after going through a full bottle of this eye supplement, all the milia was gone! The eyes are always the first to show signs of aging so don’t skip the eye area!
Masks
Colleen Rothschild Intense Hydrating Mask
A true holy grail for me. This hydrating mask is one of my most repurchased skincare items and something I am never without. This hydrating mask is a constant repurchase and one that I am never without. It’s a lightweight gel cream formulated with coral grass and micro-algae that delivers intense hydration and moisture. You can either apply a thicker layer and leave on for 20 minutes for an intensive treatment. Or you can apply a very thin layer and sleep in it. Either way, my skin always looks bouncy, firm and radiant. For the price point, it’s effectiveness and all around feel on the skin, this mask checks all the boxes for me.
Colleen Rothschild Clarifying Detox Mask
Detox masks and mud masks are a definite staple in my routine. But I have a love/hate relationship with many of them. Some mud masks do an amazing job at pulling out impurities. But they strip my skin of its natural oils and leaves it feeling dry and uncomfortably tight. But this detox mask manages to deep clean while also leaving my skin feeling balanced and nourished. It’s another staple in my skincare routine and a mask that I continue to repurchase over and over. It contains activated charcoal and kaolin clay to detoxify clogged pores while vitamin c and willowherb brighten and soothe the skin. A little tip – apply this all over and then use a facial steamer to steam your face. It will help open up the pores and allow the mask to work even better.
BioDance Bio Collagen Masks
I only use face masks a few times a week but this one is a must have at least once. I will apply after all of my skincare is on and leave it on for 4-5 hours. Some people sleep in them but I prefer to wear it during the day. I usually apply it on the weekend and it does wonders at giving my skin a nourishing and plumping treatment.
Clarins Cryo-Flash Instant Lift Effect & Glow Boosting Mask
This mask is a combination of great results and a product that is enjoyable to use. It’s designed to tighten, firm and give the skin a glow which it definitely does. It’s also super cold and has a menthol/cooling sensation to it that I absolutely love. I use this as needed when my skin needs to look its best for a night out or special occasion.
Sunscreen
OneSkin OS-01 Face SPF 30+ (discount code: MAREE15)
The OneSkin OS-01 Face SPF 30+ is one of my most repurchased skincare items. It’s a lightweight, hydrating formula that feels nearly undetectable on the skin. It absorbs instantly and wears beautifully under makeup. There is an untinted version as well as three tinted versions but both feel the same on the skin. The face SPF leaves a naturally radiant finish without being too dewy or shiny. If you do prefer something that is much more glowy, here’s my post on the best glowy susncreens. It’s great for all skin types and gentle enough for sensitive skin.
Bloomeffects Tulip Dew Sunscreen Serum SPF 50 (discount code: Maree)
This sunscreen has been a staple in my routine for nearly a year. For those with dry or mature skin types, this is truly one of the best sunscreen serums I have ever tried. It leaves your skin nourished, glowy, plump and supple. The Bloomeffects Tulip Dew Sunscreen Serum is a 100% mineral broad spectrum SPF 50 with a lightweight serum texture. It provides protection against UVA & UVB rays, pollution, blue light and free radicals. It has a slight pigment that helps to even out the skin tone and color correct.
For those who want minimal coverage but a luminous finish, this is a fantastic option. I usually wear it under foundation or skin tint. On no-makeup days, it reduces redness and gives my skin a glow.

After testing countless products over the years, these truly stand out as my most repurchased skincare items. They deliver consistent results, nourish my skin, and make my routine effortless. These are the products I always come back to and can’t imagine my skincare routine without.
