I’m open to trying different colors and patterns in my wardrobe once in a while, but on the whole I definitely know what works for me. Even if I have a ton of army green, denim, beige, brown and nude, I still never tire of it. It all seems to work together so I can constantly mix and match pieces to create a ton of different outfits. I shopped the Madewell and J.Crew end of season sale recently and picked up this top and skirt. Both pieces seemed to work well together and could be mixed with a bunch of other things in my closet. I used to like to buy full “outfits” years ago, but since I have a tendency to move towards the same color palette it makes it easier to pick up individual items when I find something I really love. The leopard clutch I am wearing was a purchase from a few years ago and it has easily become one of the most worn purses in my entire collection. And yes, I love to pair it with a different leopard print for a bit of a clashing effect. Though I will always refrain from a head to toe animal print look. I have my limits, people.
