I love to change up some of my makeup each season and I usually first start with my lip colors. When spring arrives, I want to wear a bit more color and begin reaching for lip shades that are more colorful and vibrant than in the fall or winter. I gravitate towards pink shades, sheer reds and some punchy corals. As I have gotten older, I realize that brighter lip colors look a bit better on me than more neutral shades do. I still like to apply these vibrant lip shades with a light hand so the final effect is

I came across this pair and immediately put them in my cart. The price point is so good and I love that there are various lengths! Also, the fit looks loose but not too baggy. 2. Sunscreen is a non-negotiable for me and something that I apply every single day regardless of the weather. It's now part of my daily skincare routine and has been for years. Sunscreen isn't just important for protecting against a sunburn or sun damage, there are a ton of harmful effects caused by the sun regardless of your skin color or skin tone. A few of the most common issues caused from sun exposure are an increase in fine lines, loss of firmness or elasticity to the skin, age spots, skin cancer and pigment changes to the skin. While many people's
Spring is one of the only times that I tend to be drawn to all the floral prints and lighter colors. Ha! I have found so many great spring pieces and kept this round up under $200 with most of the pieces being closer to under $150. Still some neutrals because I am who I am but if you are craving color, there are so many good finds in this group. Everything I Read - April 2025 (part 1) 1. The Liar's Wife This wasn't groundbreaking but a good ol' mystery/thriller read. Palmer is married with a new baby and hoping to feel like herself again now that she is back to work. Her husband is staying home with the baby which helps to keep Palmer's mind at ease. That is until her husband begins acting strange - taking phone calls outside, deleting his call log, etc and Palmer feels like he is hiding something. After seeing him out chatting with a strange woman while he said he was at home
I don't review fragrances too often on the blog mainly because I'm not as invested in fragrances as I am in makeup or skincare. I am not someone who has a signature scent or splurges too often on perfume. But I do have types of fragrance that I am drawn to and currently have a group of scents that I really love and wanted to share. Most of these are under $100 so they aren't huge investments but I adore each of the scents. I gravitate towards sweet and/or fruity scents but don't enjoy anything too powdery or too floral.
Even though we are fully in spring and summer is fast approaching, I thought I would dedicate a blog post to 10 spring essentials to have in your closet. This list consists of classic pieces that you can wear year after year and will always be a good foundation to your warm weather wardrobe. Summer is a bit more whimsical in terms of clothing because it's hot and we all just want to not melt and wear fun prints and colors. Ha! But spring is more of a level-headed season where basics are king and will never let you down.

Now that I've reached my mid 40's, I am beginning to pivot my skincare routine a bit to really target the changes in my skin. I've always been into skincare but as we age, our skin requires different things and a different approach. Focusing on ingredients that are designed to give my skin what it needs as it goes through the natural aging process. I am grateful to even have the opportunity to age and want to give my skin all the best that I can so it can be healthy and strong. That is why I resonated so much
I am a neutrals gal through and through but there is something about Spring that makes me want to wear ALL the color. LOL I also love matching sets and athleisure outfits that are comfy yet still look chic and polished. I love putting outfits together when I'm getting dressed to go somewhere but when I need to run errands or not think about what I'm wearing, I will always gravitate towards matching sets or pieces that easily can be styled together with little to no thinking. I make too many decisions on the regular to think about what to
