I’ve never been one to shy away from form fitting clothing or dresses but this summer I have definitely embraced it more than ever. #embracethebump And of course because I never need an excuse to wear stripes, that has been my pattern of choice. Many of the fits I have purchased recently were more of a lycra or t-shirt material, this particular dress felt like a stretchy sweater that immediately goes back into shape after you wear it. It is the type of dress I have been looking for in most of the body conscious ones I have been buying. This doesn’t gap, wrinkle or pull anywhere and fits to every single contour but the fabric isn’t too thin that you feel it will show every imperfection. It manages to tick off all the boxes on flattering and fitted.
On another note, I am thrilled that many of you enjoyed my Nordstrom sale haul video yesterday – and I have another one coming up Thursday right when the sale opens to the public. I made some additional purchases since that video and found some other great staples (yes I finally got this parka and think it will be a stunner!).

Dress – J.O.A. (on sale for under $60!) | Bag – Cult Gaia (dupe for this bag here) | Sandals – Saint Laurent (really great budget option here) | Sunglasses – Free People (old but similar here and here)
