Best Shoes For SpringI can finally begin to put my boots away and pull out all my favorite spring shoe styles! These are styles that will take me all the way through summer and into fall. Most of the spring shoes I have in my closet are all neutral tones so they easily go with a variety of looks. While I do have some black sandals that I wear during the warmer months, most of the shoes I reach for are more white, cream and varying shades of brown. I also LOVE clear shoes for the warmer months. I have been wearing clear shoes for years and always recommend them because they can look great with literally any outfit. There is no competing color on the shoe so they automatically work with the look. And they also make my legs look so much longer!

Here’s a roundup of 10 shoes I will be wearing this spring.

10 Best Shoes For Spring

New Balance 327 Sneakers | Best Shoes For Spring

New Balance 327 Sneakers

With my athleisure looks, I like a more athletic sneaker style but many of them look too much like workout sneakers. I want something that looks more like a lifestyle sneaker and can worn various ways. The New Balance 327 sneakers are super popular and while many people may be over the trend, I still find these to be one of my favorite sneakers to wear. The pointy toe and slightly angular shape is so flattering. I also find these look so chic with trousers for a more business casual outfit.

Veja White Sneakers | Best Shoes For Spring

Veja White Sneakers (similar)

Obviously there are a ton of white sneaker options out there, but I have always liked the sleek look of Vejas. These are the sneakers I wear when I want something low profile, subtle and slightly dressier. This exact style of Veja sneakers are discontinued but there are a TON of similar options from them. When you are looking for a simple white sneaker style to wear in the spring and summer, choose something that has very little detail and stops well below the ankle. I don’t recommend any high tops or sneakers with a higher profile as they will look too chunky on the leg.

Pointy Toe Mules

Amazon Suede Mules

Amazon Suede Mules

I included these in my spring shoe edit but honestly, I wear these suede mules all four seasons of the year. They come in a ton of colors but I love this rich brown because they look great with almost any outfit. The subtle kitten heel makes them so comfortable but since they are a mule, they are perfect for wearing during the warmer months especially if you don’t want an open toe style. These are the must have shoe for work and can look great with trousers/jeans or dresses/skirts.

Ballet Flats

Dolce Vita Mesh Ballet Flats

Dolce Vita Mesh Ballet Flats

These mesh flats are a bit more trendy than many of the other styles I have shared but I absolutely LOVE them. I am really into the mesh shoe trend at the moment and think they are a fun way to add texture into an outfit. The overall fit and look of them are that of a classic ballet flat but the mesh fabric gives them a more unique look. And especially in the warmer weather, the mesh will be a bit more breathable.

Jeffrey Campbell Two Tone Ballet Flats

Jeffrey Campbell Two Tone Ballet Flats

As you can see I styled these flats with a winter to spring transition look, but I can’t wait to wear them all spring and summer long. They obviously are made to look like the Chanel ballet flats that have been iconic for decades but at a much more palatable price point. You might think the two tone color blocking could make them a bit difficult to style but honestly they look great with any outfit you would normally wear with black flats OR with nude flats. For that reason, they have an endless number of outfit possibilities.

Neutral Sandals

Jeffrey Campbell Fluxx Sandals

Jeffrey Campbell Fluxx Sandals

Sandals are a must for spring and moving into summer and these Jeffrey Campbell sandals have been a staple in my closet for nearly 3 years. They are super flattering on the foot and can be dressed up or down. They come in a variety of colors but this light tan is the most versatile in my opinion. Normally I am someone who prefers a pointy toe over a round or square toe, but these sandals are one of the few exceptions in my closet. There is a strap that wraps around the ankle but because the strap sits lower on the ankle, it doesn’t cut off the leg and actually gives a more lengthening effect.

Schutz Victorie Clear Sandals Best Shoes For Spring

Schutz Victorie Clear Sandals

If there is one shoe that will be the MOST versatile in your closet, it is a clear sandal. I specifically love the Schutz ones and have both a low block heel style and a high stiletto heel style. I think when clear shoes first starting becoming popular, people were unsure exactly how it would look when you couldn’t see any top portion of the shoe. Would the foot look like it was floating? Can clear shoes be chic? There are so many amazing styles available now that put all these concerns to rest. I absolutely love clear shoes and recommend them every single spring and summer.

Saint Laurent Tribute Nu Pieds Sandals

Saint Laurent Tribute Nu Pieds Sandals

These were a shoe that I splurged on nearly 6 years ago but honestly they have been one of the best designer shoes I have ever purchased. Their versatility is unmatched and they still look so chic and current still to this day. They now come in a ton of colors and the price has sadly gone up in the past few years. They are still less expensive than the Hermes Oran sandals that are are still a highly desired luxury sandal. From a comfort perspective, they are more comfortable than I ever anticipated. I can walk for 5-6 hours in them and never get any blisters.

Neutral Heels

Dolce Vita Suede Heels

A simple neutral pointy toe heel will always be in style and always be a good choice to wear throughout spring and into summer. I love the very pale beige shade of these Dolce Vita heels. They are higher than most of the other options I have shared so if you want a medium heel height, these are the ones to go with. The pointy toe is my preferred toe shape for heels and the slight ruching detail gives them a little something extra.

Clear Heels

Schutz Ariella Heels | Best Shoes For Spring

Schutz Ariella Heels

These are the first clear heels I purchased a few years ago and they are still my MOST worn spring and summer sandal by far. They are the most flattering style and at a really reasonable price point. I am actually considering getting a backup pair because I wear these so much. They are a high heel so they are definitely a dressier style but can be worn with jeans too. Whenever I get questions about what to wear to a spring or summer wedding, these shoes are ALWAYS the first thing I recommend. They look so beautiful on the foot and allow the whatever dress you choose to really stand out. Also if you are planning any warm weather vacations, these shoes are the best to bring because they will go with every outfit you pack.
