I was not 100% sold on the combat boot trend and thought many of them looked too clunky for my taste. Then I came across this pair from Sam Edelman and they were the perfect ones for my personal style. The toe is quite narrow and slightly pointed which makes them much more flattering, and the studded detail is edgy but not too over the top. There is a side zipper so you can slip the boot on and off without ever having to undo the laces or unfasten the buckles. Genius! I’ve always gravitated towards Sam Edelman shoes and boots because his styles look much more expensive than they are. I don’t have too many of his clothing pieces but these coated jeans I’m wearing in the post were one of my best purchases last winter. They have really intense hold in them so they suck you in and are a nice change from regular black denim. For right now, I have been wearing my combat boots with more casual outfits but am going to try and see if I can dress them up. I’ll be sure to share any of my looks either on Instagram or on the blog. If this particular pair of combat boots is not your style, I found a handful of other options and linked them in the widget below. Also, for anyone who is a Sam Edelman lover like myself, here are a few other styles that are worth checking out: these are the most classic black suede booties, these are a great Gucci loafer dupe and these booties are a great style to wear for holiday parties!
