One of the things on my spring to-do list is to visit as many botanical gardens or parks as I can. I adore exploring them and spring is the best time to go since the weather is still manageable and not too hot. Unfortunately it’s been raining cats and dogs here so we have only visited one recently, Brookside Gardens but in the next few weeks I am hoping to check a few more off my list.
This outfit sums up what I love about the warm weather – how easy it is to get ready. A dress, sandals, a bag and I’m out the door! I have been eyeing these espadrilles since last summer and while they aren’t anything fancy, I LOVE the simplicity of them and the wearable heel height. They are the kind of shoes that work for a dressier occasion or can be worn for an entire day at a park, amusement park or outing with the family. I was able to stand and walk around in them for 10+ hours and my feet felt nothing! While I do get many inquiries and emails about suggestions for cute flats because heels are perceived as more uncomfortable, I actually prefer a small heel like this for comfort. Especially after my multiple back surgeries, I find that a slight lift puts less pressure on my lower back than a flat shoe. If you are looking for a versatile but still comfortable spring shoe, I highly recommend this style

Dress – Saylor (top version here, also available here) | Bag – Cult Gaia | Wedges – Castaner (also loving them in this color, similar style here) | Sunglasses – Chloe (similar here)
