I was hesitant to delve into the kimono trend, but I have come across a few styles here and there that I really love (remember this pic on Instagram, love this one!). I feel like they are the perfect in-between clothing piece – spring to summer, summer to fall, fall to winter. I love throwing one on with a tank and jeans, dress or shorts and I’m sure it would work perfectly with a turtleneck or light sweater in the fall. Because I am on the shorter side (5’4″), I do think they look best with a heel of some sort but if you are taller either flats or heels could be an option. #jealous #shortpeopleproblems LOL
And yes, I was really wanting to wear some of my old jeans, so I did squeeze into this slim boyfriend style I have and did the ol’ rubber band trick with the waistband. I actually picked up some jeans recently for after baby and was just too excited to wear them so I used the rubber band trick for them as well. But I do have my eye on one more pair of maternity jeans since I am not due until the beginning of November and ¬†hopefully they fit. I think having a black pair of jeans will be perfect for the fall and love that these are coated!¬†
