I know some people immediately pull out the sweaters and scarves the minute it gets a bit chilly. Not me. I simply cannot go into the cold weather that boldly. I need time to grieve the loss of summer. I still don’t want to give up my shorts, but adding ankle boots seemed like a fair compromise considering the drop in temperature this past weekend. I even threw on a denim jacket on top of my chambray this day, but I wasn’t happy about it. I’ll eventually be here for fall, but I am going to need a minute.
