This weekend marks my second Mother’s Day and we kept things a bit more low key this year, and stayed home most of the day. It was raining but that didn’t stop Miles from wanting to go play outside so I put his rain boots and coat on and had him splash around for a bit. In fact, I took him for a ride in his push car early in the morning and we probably looked so funny walking around with our rain gear on and umbrella up but he had a blast. I wish the weather had been beautiful, because I had wanted to wear this look again! I have really been loving maxi and midi skirts/dresses recently and have found so many that work with my 5’4″ frame. The hi/lo hem on this skirt is much more flattering in person than it looked online and I love how it moves when I walk. This white tank was such a great find because it can be worn with a dressier look like this, as well as with pants or a pencil skirt for a workwear outfit. And since the skirt is not too long, I plan to wear it with flats or flip flops and a tank top in the summer. So many options for each piece and both are under $40!
