The Wrap Coat

Jacket - Ann Taylor (size down, runs big) | Turtleneck - Club Monaco | Jeans - Topshop | Boots - YSL (old but similar here and here) | Sunglasses - Le Specs | Bag - Proenza Schouler | Rings - Kendra Scott and Stone and Strand

Wrap coats are truly one of the most versatile coat styles. I have worn it with jeans and boots here, but I love wearing it with dressier looks as well. I also find that they are so flattering on many body types because they tie at the waist which helps to create an hourglass silhouette. I was immediately drawn to the color of this coat because it was a lighter shade that could work as a subtle winter white but can still look great with darker colors (and won't show dirt as easily!).

Veering off fashion chat for a minute to say that we shot our family photos on Tuesday! It was a wild time but tons of fun. We woke Miles up early from his nap so he was a tad clingy and fussy at the beginning but by the end he was having a blast. I decided to do an denim/brown theme with all our outfits because it was easy to put together. I knew we would be running around with him so I wanted all of us to be comfortable. I can't wait to get the photos back and see how everything turned out! Do you do family photos every year? Let me know!

The Holiday Shop is now up and will feature all my favorite holiday fashion and accessory picks all season long! It will be updated every week with new finds! Visit it here
