I used to wear so much black clothing years ago because I worked in cosmetics that I swore off black from my closet for a long time after that. I still love denim, olive green and neutrals but would steer myself away from black many times. Over the past few years, I’ve slowly begun to add pieces back in to my wardrobe but I still like to keep it balanced with color and prints. I had placed a large order from Zara recently to see if any of their dresses would work for me now and possibly later in my pregnancy, but the only two pieces that looked flattering were this black tank dress and this off the shoulder striped dress I wore here
I feel like there are two roads for maternity looks – body con dresses/fitted items or flowy, billowy pieces. To be honest, I am drawn to both styles and will wear either as long as the whole look is flattering. I do anticipate this tank dress to be a staple as the months go on, but finding a good one has been harder than I thought. Most are way too sheer in the back and I feel like you can see everything especially in the sunlight. No thank you! This dress thankfully is opaque enough, and at less than $20 is a major steal.

Dress – Zara (also loving this tank dress and this one) | Shirt – J.Crew | Sandals – Coach (similar here and here) | Bag – Gucci | Sunglasses – Ray-Ban | Hat – Rag & Bone | Necklace – Made Community
