Feminine Mixed With Masculine

Happy Saturday! I hope everyone that celebrated Thanksgiving had a great one. I always feel like time moves slowly before Thanksgiving, and then right after it's like someone turns on a fast forward switch. Before I know it, it's New Year's! However, this is still one of my favorite times of the year - not only because of the holidays but because the weather has not yet plunged into permanent winter temps and I can get by with lighter layers. This is an outfit I wore a week or so ago and I love how the feminine aspects of my look (red lips, curls, silk blouse) work with the masculine details (moto jacket, oxfords). It's nice to mix up the two styles because it manages to strike a better balance. I don't have an overly feminine or masculine style, but like to incorporate elements of both in my outfits. Though more masculine shoes will always be better for comfort (aka no heels! LOL).

Speaking of heels though, I didn't do a ton of Black Friday shopping but I did splurge on a pair of heels I have been eyeing for more than a year. When I saw them go on sale on Wednesday, I snagged them immediately! They also come in a higher heel which I debated on getting, but ultimately I knew my feet would thank me with the lower one. If you are looking for leopard shoes, Net-a-Porter has some great ones. These are under $100 (but going super fast), these are for those that prefer the highest of heels, these are the same print but at a lower height and these have a chic ankle strap. Also for those that love flats, these and these are two of my favorites!
