I feel like this dress is meant for a more exotic locale because the print is so fun and tropical. So feel free to put a mini umbrella in your drink while reading this to enhance your experience. LOL I'm not always a fan of the midi length since I am only 5'4", but with the higher slits on each side of this dress it was a lot more flattering. Normally with a longer dress or skirt, I would choose a higher heel but since it was so hot out this particular day that I threw on my new wrap sandals. The key to making these shoes comfortable is keeping the straps very loose. Surprisingly it stays on the foot really well so don't worry about them being too loose. I walked around in them for hours and hours and never got a blister or had sore feet. I highly recommend them for a casual summer sandal.
I'm on a bathing suit mission this week for our beach getaway next week and am thinking about getting a one piece for a change. Because I'm so pale and burn easily, I don't have a large collection of bathing suits and wear coverups more than anything. Beach bags and coverups - that's what my beach look mostly consists of each summer. And now these sandals. They will be my alternative to flip flops!
