I won't miss the humidity of summer, but I can't say I am completely ready to begin transitioning my closet. This past weekend it was a bit chilly and overcast, but I still threw on some shorts, sandals and a tee for wandering around Dumbo, Brooklyn. I am not the biggest expert in layering which is why I probably prefer summer clothes a bit more. It seems easier to pull together a complete look without having to add 15,000 different pieces. While I always admire the bloggers that can accessorize the heck out of an outfit, I tend to like keeping things simple. Shoes, clothes, bag and I'm out the door. If I wear jewelry, it's typically one piece and adding sunglasses is something I do occasionally. They always rub off my makeup anyways which frustrates me! I know I can't delay the inevitable but that doesn't stop me from hoping we can get a few more weeks out of summer clothes.
